This test uses non-ionizing, high-frequency sound waves to generate an image of a particular structure. Ultrasound is employed in the visualization of soft tissue interfaces of homogeneous, fluid-filled, or solid organs, tumor, masses or muscles located throughout the body. The technologist approaches the imaging of the body in a different manner by utilizing knowledge in detailed anatomy and physiology and the three-dimensional understanding of the human body.
Technologist Expertise:
You can rely upon Sonoheart to provide your patients with the finest ultrasound studies.
Our Technologists are well trained and professionally credentialed (RVT, RDCS, and/or RDMS).
We ensure that, prior to joining Sonoheart, our Technologists have clinical experience, and continue to develop by working with board-certified cardiologists and participating in continuing education programs.
Depending upon your expertise, studies are either:
Read by your office; or
Read by experienced physicians committed to providing accurate diagnostic reads and efficient report turnaround utilizing our internet-based reporting system.
Equipments
Sonoheart utilizes the newest well-tested technologies to ensure that our Technologists can perform high-quality studies within all facilities.
Our ultrasonography system is a highly miniaturized, all digital, phased array echocardiography system that provides complete studies and outstanding images -even on the most technically difficult patients. Because today’s clinical environment leaves no room for compromise and no time for repeat studies, our system offers a full range of medical imaging capabilities.
Sonoheart Technologists are trained to work with your existing equipments, or to perform studies on our equipments.
Technological Infrastructure
In addition to our Technologists and Equipments, we have invested in a high-quality Internet-based infrastructure, which we utilize to transmit studies to the interpreting physicians. The system also provides for online preparation of reports, and archiving of all digital studies.
